Overview
FeedPane is a Chrome browser extension that helps you save, organise, and launch LinkedIn search URLs. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.
What data FeedPane stores
FeedPane stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage (chrome.storage.local):
- The names, URLs, and tags you give to your saved searches
- The number of times you have opened each search
- The date each search was last opened and created
This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to any server, and FeedPane has no backend, database, or external service of any kind.
What FeedPane does not collect
- No personal information
- No browsing history
- No LinkedIn account data, profile data, or activity
- No analytics or usage tracking
- No cookies set by FeedPane itself
Network activity
FeedPane modifies certain HTTP response headers for LinkedIn pages loaded inside the FeedPane Deck. Specifically, it removes X-Frame-Options and Content-Security-Policy headers on LinkedIn sub-frame responses. This is required to allow LinkedIn pages to load inside the Deck's column view. This modification happens entirely within your browser and does not involve any external server or data transmission.
FeedPane does not intercept, read, or store the content of any LinkedIn page.
Permissions used
FeedPane requests the following Chrome permissions:

Data deletion
All data stored by FeedPane can be deleted at any time by removing the extension from Chrome, or by using the delete controls within the extension itself. Removing the extension permanently deletes all locally stored data.
Children's privacy
FeedPane is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL with an updated date at the top.
